HONINGLITE™ CEO Surfactants are a new generation of
high-performance, readily biodegradable specialty surfactants based
on Cashew Nutshell Liquid,a natural and renewable resource . They
are designed for use in hard surface cleaning, textile processing,
and wetting of both hard and soft surfaces.
HONINGLITE™ CEO Surfactants have an excellent environmental
profile: they are readily biodegradable
(> 99 percent biodegradation within 28 days OECD301F) and have
an aquatic toxicity EC50> 10 mg/L.
These surfactants meet the criteria for the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) Design fors the
Environment Surfactant Screen.
HONINGLITE™ CEO Surfactants are a line of specialty surfactants
designed to help formulators meet rising expectations for
performance and convenience in the marketplace while complying with
rapidly increasing, more stringent environmental and safety
regulations.

HONINGLITE™ CEO types have a shelf life of at least two years in
their original packaging, provided they are stored properly and
drums are kept tightly sealed.
Applications
The HONINGLITE™ CEO types have high detergency and high
soil-dispersing capacity, and they are very effective emulsifiers
and wetting agents. It is for this reason that they are frequently
employed in detergents and cleaners and in other industrial
processes that require this type of performance. The
HONINGLITE™ CEO types with a low degree of ethoxylation perform
very well as emulsifiers for mineral oils, which is particularly
useful in cleaners that are applied cold.
